  • Can't get better than this!

    This amp is truly amazing. I am the worship leader at my church and have been searching for a great amp, I tried egnater, vox, marshall, mesa boogies, but none of them gave me the clarity and response like this amp. It has great cleans but when I run my sparkle drive, ocd, and route 66 in front of it I get some really warm and beautiful overdrives. This amp has the best tone. It's no wonder why this amp is used by so many musicians live an in the studio. I highly recommend this amp for anyone looking for a great clean reliable amp to use pedals with. If this amp broke or was stolen, I would be back at guitar center to either fix it or buy a new one. I will never own another amp!

  • This is the perfect amp for the Clean sound -it is excellent.

    You can mic this amp if you are playing live into the PA system, and it can handle a big show. You can also play strait out the amp for smaller gigs. If you play at home it is great. If you carry it to the studio it is not to heavy. It is Great to Record with. It is a clean and clear amp and sounds great with Fender Tele's and other Fender guitars. It also sounds great with Rickenbacker guitars. This is the perfect amp if you are wondering should I get this amp. Yes. If you want louder (Fender Twin). If you want dirty distortion get Marshall.   • This is the one!

    My dad bought me a new DR in 1971,I loved it but because of the low wattage had to play it close to 10 with a 2-12 extention speaker cabinet to keep up with drums and bass. But in those days we didn't mike everything, in fact we were lucky to mike the singer! LOL! But now the world has changed but thank you Fender the Deluxe Reverb hasn't. I've got a 74 Silverface with a Weber 12 inch replacement,recommended for the DR. And comparing it with the '65 reissue I can't hear a difference except the RI sounds crisper, but then it's new! In '71 the speakers were always blowing, the Oxfords or Jensens would always blow after gigging for 6 nights a week, but now that problem doesn't exist, if you need it louder you mike it. And older now I like a cleaner sound so as others have said it's rare when I have to turn it up over 3. It's the sweetest Fender made, and I've played thru them all. I can rant all night about this amp so I'll shut up, just buy it, unless you play heavy metal!
