A real tube amp with 16 preamp voicings for amazing versatility!
The Super Champ® guitar amp of the early 1980s was an up-to-the-minute take on the venerable Fender® Champ® amplifier. It contained a powerful 10" speaker, large for a Champ; its all-tube overdrive capabilities were further enhanced by the inclusion of genuine Fender reverb. Bottom line, it had incredible gain and volume in a compact package a real surprise for guitarists who were accustomed to hauling much larger amps to the studio or rehearsal hall.
The Super Champ® XD amplifier enters a new era by combining a real tube amp with up-to-date "extras" like versatile amp voicing and a wide palette of quality effects. There's no limit to the number of tones that can be coaxed from this little firecracker, so practice and recording sessions really come alive with the Fender Super Champ XD amp.

NEW REVIEW - Great Amp For The Money
Okay, I'm just a beginner on guitar, but have been playing winds professionally for 40 years. I did some research and found this amp was probably what I needed. I purchased a Lone Star Strat about a month ago and was using my son's old Peavey Rage 158 that he used when he first started. I wasn't happy with the Peavey, but didn't need an expensive amp at this stage. I looked at the Blues Junior and Princeton amps, but seemed a bit pricey for a tube amp....then I found the Super Champ! So far it has been a pleasure with lots of clean sound anyway enough for a home practice amp. I've been experimenting with the various voicings and am having a blast.

NEW REVIEW - UM.... YESSSS
I think this is the perfect amp. Its portable, Loud enough to support a band, has a clean channel that is worth the price by itself, has amp models that are accurate and sound good; and it's a frekin TUBE amp!!!!! At least do yourself a favor and check it out.

AwEsOmE!!!
This amp is just awesome. it is a tube amp with effects. you are crazy if you think it won't handle a band on stage, but it is great for in your room or garage. It has two channels, one that is clean w/ effects(reverb, chorus, delay, etc), and one with amp simulators( blackface, bassman, acoustasonic, metalhead) and effects, and the best part, its a tube amp. It has amazing tone, you can get pretty much any tone you want out of it. You can go from clean acoustic sound to heavy metal by turning the amp setting, then add some reverb or delay, whatever you want, its there. Its definately worth the money!!

Great Amp!
I have owned many Fender Amps and the Super Champ XD I would rate as one of the best I have played. It packs a powerful punch with superior Blackface sound. The 10" speaker is a perfect match that provides the rich tone you expect from a Fender tube amp. When you crank up the volume the tone just keeps getting better with little distortion. The digital effect are amazing. The setting for spring reverb sounds very good and the other effects also sound good. The distortion channel provides a good selection of tones for your own preference. You will appreciate the compactness of this amp and will be amazed at the sound for the value. As you can tell, I like this amp. Kudos Fender!

Best starter amp out there!!!
This has got to be THE ABSOLUTE BEST AMP FOR THE MONEY PERIOD! For anyone who is starting out or who doesn't need to play an arena. This thing flat out rocks. The only thing that would make this thing any better would be a higher end speaker but that can be changed very easily as the speaker tends to be a little weak on the bass side but the mids and highers are excellent, but the fact that it has a line out makes up for since you can hook up a full rack with this if you wanted, wich is an AWESOME feature. This has two tubes plus a tube rectifier; yeah three tubes in this small package. So yes this is the best amp out there for the money.
