NEW REVIEW - I couldn't believe it.
I bought this case to house my ten year old son's first tele. For whatever reason, the tele would not fit. Aside from that, there was rough plastic sticking out of the lining, the shell itself was warped and would not close properly (one of the corners gapped open about 1/2"), there was some sort of adhesive on the metal edges along the back seam, and there were scratches on the front. I didn't expect top quality for bargain pricing, but I did expect solid craftsmanship from a quality company. I'll stick to SKB from now on.

Great for the Price
I bought this case for my son to take his guitar to school for guitar class. Very durable and fits his Strat perfectly.

Pretty Good Case for the price
This case is pretty nice. The latches are kind of hard to open & close, they could use longer actuators to solve that issue. It holds the guitar, my strap, a few tools, whammy bar, a couple cords, some extra strings & tuner with room to spare. I wish it had a separate place made to hold picks, that would be really nice, I may make a mod for that.
The outside looks nice & is molded very nicely. It has a very high quality look to it & I have received a few complements to that effect. The handle seems sturdy. It would be nice to have an optional hook on the lid to hold it up at a 90 degree angle or so for tight space situations, this case is quite large when opened flat in a small studio or lesson room.
Overall I am pleased with the purchase & would do it again.

fender strat case
I still have the old tweed case with the old wore out latches and hinges and was time to retire.
This new fender case case fits my old strat like a glove. Very nice inside and good storage. Can even put a couple or so boss pedals inside for quick gig set up. Very satisfied, would recommend to anyone.
Very solid case for protection on the good old guitar.

Not a fan...
It is true that this case is reasonably priced, but that was not enough to win me over. I expected a good, solid, hardshell case, and that is not what I got. The case may be somewhat protective when closed, but the plastic was warped, it's damn near impossible to close, and the plastic is flexible instead of completely solid, as expected. Also, if you want to put bumper stickers on it, forget about it. The surface is porous and pointy such that no bumper sticker will stick. Also, the clasps are very low quality. Quite disappointed with this buy.

flimsy case
Maybe I expected too much from a 90 dollar guitar case, but this is pretty flimsy. The latches are of very low quality, and the shell of this case is very flimsy as well. The inside of this case does fit a strat nicely, and has some extra storage, but I am more concerned about the protection of the guitar. Overall, disappointed.
