NEW REVIEW - An excellent pro item for sure!
I used this vintage hardshell case to send my telecaster from US to France and I must say it did properly the job! Both items arrived in perfect shape at final destination. The purchase is really worth the price if compared with other cheaper cases. Heavy sturdy "born to run" hardshell for sure, which will last for many years!

Beautiful Case for a Beautiful Strat/Tele
I bought the black case with the blue plush interior, and it is very nice looking. It also keeps the guitar safe for the most part, but the case isn't perfectly fitted to the base of the strat of tele, so the guitar moves around a little bit from side to side, near the body. Otherwise, the case is very nice; it also has a huge compartment case where you can fit picks, a guitar strap, guitar strings, and maybe even a small effects pedal or tuner.

Two Generations and then 3
My dad uses these cases! Every Fender he still has is in a Fender case. They are beat up, and battle scarred, but they don't EVER let down their precious charges inside. If you owned a vintage instrument you would be responsible with its care too! Dad and I will never use anything less than a Fender case for the instruments we love. My boys probably won't either.
If you are willing to spend good money for a good insrument then ensure its protection in a good case. These are old school cases that cary respect. Dad needs to know that his son will take care of his gear when the time comes. You can't take 'em with you but you can pass 'em on.

This case puts a smile on your face!
Nothing can compliment your Strat or Tele better than an original Fender Hardshell Case. I bought the tweed for that vintage look. Excellently made with sturdy materials and worth every cent I paid!
Now my Strat sleeps in the best!

One of the best cases out there
I got this for my stratocaster. There is not much I can says about it. It has served me well in the 3 years I have had it and the inside looks great. I recommend this over any other case on the market.

Classic Case
I bought the tweed case for my Strat, its a classic case like the ones used in the sixties. The Fender Start/Tele Case is very protective but the case allows the guitar to move a little bit inside. The Compartment is big enough to hold a guitar strap, guitar strings, some picks, polishing cloth, and a tuner.
Bottom line: A very nice looking case that protects your guitar and has nice features.

Worth the Extra Bucks
I don't buy stuff just because it has a well known logo on it. When I paid the extra money for the Fender tweed case, it was in the hope that it was truly a higher quality product. Well, turns out, it is a fantastic guitar case. Really deluxe in the true sense of the word. And it seems solid as a rock.
The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is that I haven't had it long enough to know how it will hold up. But I'm confident I'll still be using this case 20 years from now. It just seems totally well built and the tweed is pretty tough. As it gets the unavoidable scuffs and dings, it's just going to look even more vintage.
Highly recommend this case over the cheaper imitations.

Awesome Case!
i just bought a '96 strat lake placid blue and it sounds greatand looks great. so i wanted a case that would match it in beauty but still be durable enough to protect it well. i was considering a generic brand that immitated this fender case but im glad i just paid the money and got the fender cause it is awesome. it has a gorgeous interior and i fell in love with the old-school tweed look. the only thing i dont like is that the whammy bar on my strat is a little high for the case making it a bit awkward to close. it still works but i just ended up taking the whammy bar off each time i use it. the storage space is big enough for that and a tuner and a strap and picks and a small pedal and whatever else your heart could desire. when push comes to shove this is my favorite case yet.
