NEW REVIEW - meh...could be better
the little support rod that actually locks the strap into the guitar are too short so if your lock spins around your guitar will fall out..if you want the same style strap locks but you dont want to lose your guitar i would reccomend the proline models. the support rod is much better on that (i have those on one of my other guitars)

You NEED these!
Pretty much every guitarist I know that actually moves around while playing has had that moment. And it's not a fun moment. The moment where the strap slips off the peg and you catch it on the way to the floor. Except, usually you don't catch it. For less than $15, you can make sure that never happens. I like the Fender system better than the other... just because. It's what I use and it's always worked for me. TRUST me on this. If you like your guiar the way it is, the two best accessories you can possibly have is a hardshell case and strap locks.

A real life saver
Before I bought these locks, I dropped my SG once during a practice which left a big dent. Ever since I installed these straps I haven't had to worry about my guitar getting hurt while playing. They are easy to use, and they feel very secure. I am at ease when playing with them. As for the design, they make it so that they will not accidentally unlock. I have done guitar spins and flips with these strap locks and they have held up beautifully. Protect your guitar and use these strap locks.

Saved me
I installed this straplock system on my electric guitar, and it definately keeps it way more secure. I bought the silver, and it is the exact color of my former strap buttons! Definately a must have for anyone, especially if you have an expensive guitar.

Saving a Legacy.
When it comes to my guitars I don't mess around. When I hooked up my "Flying V", the strap bolts slid right out of my Strap. Fortunately I had hold of the neck, preventing damage, but I may not always be so lucky. I installed a set of these strap locking bolts and it has been a brilliant investment. The end pieces secure firmly to your strap ends, and then using a latching system the ends secure to the strap bolts on the guitar. If you care at all about the life expectancy of your guitar... invest in this bit of hardware.

Best Investment
My Fender strap locks and buttons are about the best thing i ever bought for my Telecaster. These will keep your investment safe from just setting your guitar down to throwing it over your head. They look quite good if I may say so myself. If you've got twenty bucks, buy these they're worth it.

It's a necessity!
I went looking for an item to secure my strap when I nearly dropped my guitar on the floor. This item so far has solved my problem or rather any future problem of this kind. It installs easily and the locking mechanism makes it easy to switch a strap as well.

Great Security and Ease To Install
My first set of Fender Strap locks came with my Deluxe American Stratocaster. I definitely fell in love with the minimialist Fender Leather Strap, as well as, these great strap locks.
Make sure to place the leather betwen the metal parts and not underneath, as I did. It worked, but when I bought another pair of Fender Strap Locks for my Washburn Custom V I understood. There was no problem with installation as the screw sizes worked out well.
I now have a pair sitting in a box waiting to be placed on my Gibson Vintage Mahogany Les Paul. The screws appear to be the same size so I anticipate no problems.
Repeated purchases speak for themselves.
I would add that I bought a pair of Dunlop Strap Locks. The screws were to big, but were the right size for my Lakland bass guitar.

Saved my guitar
It's definitely the worst feeling when you're shredding in your garage and suddenly your strap just falls right off your guitar. That happened to me countless times before, but after I bought these strap locks, my guitar hasn't fell off the strap since. These locks are easy to install and a hardy enough to hold on no matter how you play your guitar. Certainly worth the money!
