Genuine Fender special strap locks and buttons keep your favorite Fender guitar safe and secure. The set includes 2 locks, 2 buttons, 2 screws, and felt washers.
the little support rod that actually locks the strap into the guitar are too short so if your lock spins around your guitar will fall out..if you want the same style strap locks but you dont want to lose your guitar i would reccomend the proline models. the support rod is much better on that (i have those on one of my other guitars)

Pretty much every guitarist I know that actually moves around while playing has had that moment. And it's not a fun moment. The moment where the strap slips off the peg and you catch it on the way to the floor. Except, usually you don't catch it. For less than $15, you can make sure that never happens. I like the Fender system better than the other... just because. It's what I use and it's always worked for me. TRUST me on this. If you like your guiar the way it is, the two best accessories you can possibly have is a hardshell case and strap locks.

Before I bought these locks, I dropped my SG once during a practice which left a big dent. Ever since I installed these straps I haven't had to worry about my guitar getting hurt while playing. They are easy to use, and they feel very secure. I am at ease when playing with them. As for the design, they make it so that they will not accidentally unlock. I have done guitar spins and flips with these strap locks and they have held up beautifully. Protect your guitar and use these strap locks.

I installed this straplock system on my electric guitar, and it definately keeps it way more secure. I bought the silver, and it is the exact color of my former strap buttons! Definately a must have for anyone, especially if you have an expensive guitar.

When it comes to my guitars I don't mess around. When I hooked up my "Flying V", the strap bolts slid right out of my Strap. Fortunately I had hold of the neck, preventing damage, but I may not always be so lucky. I installed a set of these strap locking bolts and it has been a brilliant investment. The end pieces secure firmly to your strap ends, and then using a latching system the ends secure to the strap bolts on the guitar. If you care at all about the life expectancy of your guitar... invest in this bit of hardware.
