Pretty much every guitarist I know that actually moves around while playing has had that moment. And it's not a fun moment. The moment where the strap slips off the peg and you catch it on the way to the floor. Except, usually you don't catch it. For less than $15, you can make sure that never happens. I like the Fender system better than the other... just because. It's what I use and it's always worked for me. TRUST me on this. If you like your guiar the way it is, the two best accessories you can possibly have is a hardshell case and strap locks.
I installed this straplock system on my electric guitar, and it definately keeps it way more secure. I bought the silver, and it is the exact color of my former strap buttons! Definately a must have for anyone, especially if you have an expensive guitar.
the little support rod that actually locks the strap into the guitar are too short so if your lock spins around your guitar will fall out..if you want the same style strap locks but you dont want to lose your guitar i would reccomend the proline models. the support rod is much better on that (i have those on one of my other guitars)
