  • Great deal

As reviewed by Ted on 2/26/2010

I've always played electric and have smallish hands. This guitar is great for me because the action is similar to an electric. Like other reviews say, the sound isn't as full as a traditional acoustic, but I usually play when my two small children are in bed, so this isn't a drawback for me. And it does sound beautiful amplified. I can't imagine a better guitar for the price.

  • Great axe

As reviewed by Patrick T. on 3/2/2011

Overall great guitar. I was a bit sceptical at first after seeing that it's not made out of wood, but it's really a great guitar. Sounds great plugged in and acousticly. The equalizer on the guitar is really great for shaping sounds, the versitility packed into this thing is incredible. The best part about it is that it still has some classic "tele twang" you'd expect from a telecaster, with the added shimmering acoustic sounds. Great buy, would reccomend to anyone of all genres of music.

  • Surprising Amplified

As reviewed by Dr J on 4/21/2011

I've owned this guy for over a year now and you really can't go wrong for the $$. The small size and fiberglass body give a pretty lousy dry sound but it is small, good for travel and loud enough for practice. I amplify it through a Fishman SA220 and it really wakes up into a great little stage acoustic. The difference between the amplified and dry sound is remarkable. It is notorious for high action out of the box. I had the saddle knocked down across all strings before I left the GC, I'm told this is SOP for this guitar.
