As reviewed by milo garcia on 5/14/2011

i own this guitar and i think it is amazing, the guitar it is incredibly versatile and can play many styles of music from country to heavy metal. the dual pickups give it is signiture sound paired up with its six saddle bridge. this product is very reliable and would probably bring only one backup guitar gigs. this guitars finish in amazingly beautiful and very professional at the same time. the guitar seems heavy compared to others but the sound makes up for it. this guitar with all its qualities is woth the price.

  • Great guitar!!

As reviewed by Ryan on 2/19/2011

This week, i went to Guitar Center just to look around, see what i would like to purchase for maybe the future. I have been playing for about 4 years. This guitar caught my eye as soon as i walked through the door. It has an amazing finish. I tried it out and it sounded perfect to me. I bought it as it has an amazing price. This guitar is great for any type of music. Classical, rock, metal, jazz, etc. Also, this guitar stays in tune perfectly. My fingers feel like they can move perfectly down the neck, and it feels like it is very well built. This is an amazing guitar for the price. I have 3 other electric guitars and this is by far my favorite. You will not be disappointed with this guitar!

  • Good for the price

I got an ash FSR in Nov '07 and let's start with what's not listed: it actually has a tortiseshell pickguard (not white), it has a 3-piece body, and it doesn't come with a gig bag (unlike the other standard teles). That said, it weighs a ton but sounds quite good. With the mexis, there is more variation in quality than the americans, so check you neck-body gap and neck well, but all in all its a great guitar. If looking for a vintage look you could easily throw on a fender vintage bridge, saddles, strap, and black pickguard and have a really nice fifties look. Highly recommended!
