Best Guitar in the $300-500 price range

Excellent guitar for the dollar, neck has great action, pick ups sound good but thinking about changing pick ups ..putting in fender '69 strat standard pick up. I own the black model, love the color, like everything about the guitar for its price range. Overall rating-great guitar for any level player. I've been playing the guitar for 30 years and play rock through a Fener tube amp reissue. I would recommend anyone buying it, the Fender Standard Strat, Mexican made Axe rules.

The Archetypal Awesome

This guitar is excellent for the money. As a teenager this is the first guitar that I was able to buy all by myself. It's finished nicely. The neck is fast, the intonation on mine out of the factory was perfect, and the action is great. The pick-ups have a nice twangy sound but can also be smoother (esp. distorted). The Telecster is the archetypal Rock 'n' Roll sound at a very affordable price. I like it better than my Gibson and I'd recommend it to everyone, especially those nostalgic for a classic or bluesy sound.

great guitar!!

I've had my tele for about a year now and have played a couple shows with it. it is a great guitar for live shows. it is not heavy!! its about half the weight of the les paul. thats why i like it. also, the playability is amazing. i barely have to put my fingers on the fretboard to make great sound. i wouldnt recommend this over an american tele or strat though.

Fender Telecaster

First I would like to say that this is a great guitar. It plays and sounds great and all for a great price. I think that this is a great guitar for people who recently started playing and want a upgrade from that squire strat.

Bang for your buck!

I picked up a '06 model in electron blue and couldn't be more happier with my purchase. Great versatile guitar and at a great price. My guitar is solid with no visable flaws. The neck feels very comfortable in my hands. The tuners are not top-notch, but the guitar stays in tune well. I took it to my luthier for a pro set-up and switched to 10's for strings. Anybody who wants a Tele, but has a limited budget, look no further! This model gives you great bang for your buck! Don't let the MIM fool you, the quality is there.
