  • Great guitar but...

As reviewed by Laurence Cox on 4/23/2011

Great guitar but I found the pickup cavity completely routed out after removing the pickguard. For an ALDER body, this cuts way down on sustain! I was bummed they did this. What a shame. Good price with the floyd installed. Wish it came with a maple fretboard option... I wanted the blue body but it was not in sock. Settled for the black one.

  • amazing

As reviewed by "Mad Max" Edblad on 11/12/2009

first of all. it took way to long to ship. they backordered me whenit said it was in stock. however it was worth the wait. the finish(lake placid blue) was more stunning than the ones at the store. it came perfectly set up, in tune, and ready to go,no problems what so ever. the neck is extremely fast and the humbuckers add a boost to solos. the floyd rose is awesome, but they did not route it out all the way so i cant do dimebag super squeals, but it still is able to pull up to my satisfaction. i love my guitar and wont need another one for many many years.

  • Good... with problems

As reviewed by Joe on 2/23/2010

This guitar sounds great, but it does come with some flaws. #1 - I bought this thing brand new and the whammy bar they sent me did not fit the hole for the floyd rose, so I had to go to a guitar shop and get it ground down. #2 - The floyd rose didnt come set up, so two intonation string holders were not even attached to the floyd rose, which is why I had to take it to the shop to get it fixed. After all the hassel and expense, the guitar does feel and sound amazing.
