  • Great for the $$$

    The other guy states in his review that the strat does not have a gloss fretboard, hes wrong. They do on the new series, he must have played older series ones. The pickups aren't bad. I own an american standard strat and the new mexi versions aren't far off, and for half the price this guitar would make a great beginner, moderate or backup guitar

  • Great for Intermediate players and great for the price

    I bought the Arctic White Stratocaster last month. I am personally a huge fan of the maple fretboards. They look nice and its easier for me to see the strings when I play. The frets are kind of thin so its easy for me to play since my hands are small. This guitar is really great for beginner's and intermediate players. Obviously it won't sound as good as good as the American made one, but overall the Fender brands are no jokes.

  • Great all around guitar

    I recently purchased a MIM Fender Stratocaster from my local guitar center. I bought the artic white one with the non maple fretboard. They had one but I played them both and I liked the unfinished maple neck best. The overall tone is ok on the bridge and middle but what makes this sound nice is the middle and neck pick up. Weather on the pick up selector is on 4 or 5 thats where the most tone is going to come from. This is my first MIM Fender Stratocaster and I'm in love with it. I did have to adjust the bridge, innotation, and action on the Stratocaster. One thing that I have noticed is that Fender needs to make there tremolo arms more durable i've replaced two in the two days due to use on the tremolo arm... But other than that. This guitar is just freaking awesome! I'd suggest this insturment to my friends.
