The Fender Standard Stratocaster Electric Guitar is the guitar design that changed the world. Includes select alder body, 21-fret gloss maple neck with a maple fretboard, 3 single-coil pickups, a vintage-style tremolo, and die-cast tuning keys. At this low price, why play anything but the real thing?
I bought the Arctic White Stratocaster last month. I am personally a huge fan of the maple fretboards. They look nice and its easier for me to see the strings when I play. The frets are kind of thin so its easy for me to play since my hands are small. This guitar is really great for beginner's and intermediate players. Obviously it won't sound as good as good as the American made one, but overall the Fender brands are no jokes.
The other guy states in his review that the strat does not have a gloss fretboard, hes wrong. They do on the new series, he must have played older series ones. The pickups aren't bad. I own an american standard strat and the new mexi versions aren't far off, and for half the price this guitar would make a great beginner, moderate or backup guitar
I bought one used for $250 dollars and it is absolutely fantastic. I love it and I couldn't ask for anything better!!!!!!!!!!!
