4-ply, 13-hole pickguard for '62 American Vintage Precision Bass, American Series Precision Bass, American Standard Precision Bass, Hot Rod Series Precision Bass, Standard Precision Bass, and Deluxe Series Precision Bass. Similar to '62 P-Bass minus the extra mounting holes for a pickup cover and thumbrest. Some pickguards are notched for heel-mounted truss rod adjustments.

    This pickguard is just awesome! I was in awe when I got it, the quality is great, and it fit snug on a squier P bass. a few of the mounting holes differed from the squier pickguard, but a little hole filling, and screwing new holes provided me with an outstanding look compared to the standard cheap white one included with the bass.

    Recently I purchased a Fender Standard Precision Bass used from a friend. The condition and sound were excellent but it still had its standard white pick guard. The bass was black. The contrast was horrid in my opinion and i decided it was time for a change. I purchased the black pearl pick guard and WOW! Does it look gorgeous on this bass, and it gave a used bass that new bass feel and smell(with a set of new strings as well) If you buy a p-bass of any sort and it still has the stock pick guard get this or another color right away!
