Great Bass, It's got the funk!

Why are you reading this? Go buy it! Fine, since you're really not sure: First off, it plays great. Whoever said p-basses are limited tonally, that's definately not true. The craftsmanshi[ is sturdy, I won't be needing to get another bass anytime soon. And my favorite part is that it keeps the 50's funk alive, except now you can mix it in with rock and get a good grind thing too. So overall, 10/10. GO BUY IT!

Mexican Precision?

Other than looking at the head stock, I'm not sure how to tell as to whether this is the Mexican made Fender or not... The Mexican Fender Precision I've experienced has Some of the best sounding pickups I've heard; suitable for recording with almost no EQ at all, which is unusual for stock pickups. Playability of the neck and fret intonation are excellent. Overall, this instruments offers a wonderful sounding combination of pickups and choice of wood. Though some versions of the Fender Precision may have more robust hardware, the tonal color along with excellent playability make this bass a great axe. I don't know how much of these qualities are up to chance, whether all recent Mexican Precisions are up to these standards, but it's definitely worth a try! Enjoy!

Great Bass!!!

This bass is awesome, I got the sunburst with the maple neck and it looks great and plays great as well. The only I would recommend would be to change the strings because they produce a rattling kind of sound, but work pretty good with slapping. Other than that this bass stays in tune very well and is just an overall good bass.

It's a Fender, what else can I say...

This bass guitar has great tone and has got punch! There isn't one note on this thing that doesn't bring tone and clarity. The action is perfect and the overall sound is amazing. I run it through my Sans Amp DI, and then through my Gallien Kruger 700RBII/4x10 cab and the rest is history. What you get for the price is incredible...Don't pass it up!
