I got a similar case as this with my Squier Strat pack, and it's held up for about 7 years now. It's a basic case but for the price you can't do much better. It's nice and sturdy material and will help you haul your Strat or Tele anytime anywhere. As always, you can't go wrong with Fender.
The Fender Standard Gig bag is exactly what it sounds like. The padding is certainly plush enough and the exterior durable. The main pocket gives room enough for a few accessories and the strap is average in every way. Get it if you plan on abusing it.
I had the same bag for my dreadnot acoustic. The bag is not perportionaly stronger for a perportionaly heavier load. The accsessory pocket is not big enough for the stuff I bring to a gig, i. e, a tuner. You'll notice I selected I own it for my experience with the product: Change that to I owned it, but I don't any more, becasue it really wasn't the best thing for my guitar. It will protect your guitar from scratches and will help you carry it. That is just about it. Yet I'mgetting another one for my new Squire '51 Guitar. Electrics are much lighter than acoustics, and that's what they suggested for my in the store. If I'm really squished on space, I can always store my tuner, strings, cords, etc. where the cutaways are (insert smiley of your choice here)
