Amazing Quality & Value

I just bought this Fender Standard Fretless Jazz Bass today and I am amazed with the quality of it, do not let the MIM tag fool you, this bass is every bit as good as a MIA. The finish is absolutely perfect, and the neck is very smooth and fast enough.

They've Come A Long Way

I just received my new Midnight Wine Standard Fretless Jazz Bass. I can't believe the improvement in quality from older MIMs. It's not even in the same class. The rosewood fret board was beautiful, the maple neck had very nice grain patterns and the finish was flawless. Right out of the box the action was near perfect, though I did tweak the truss rod a little. If you have an option like Guitar Center gave me, skip the gig bag as it is worthless. Buy a better one. I've been playing Fender Jazz basses for fifteen years and this is my first fretless. This bass sounds every bit as good as my MIA basses and is very easy to play with the lines on the fret board. The price is right, the quality is there, and the sound is there. Fender is still my instrument of choice. Also, a lot of people have been complaining about the standard bridge. For me, it is just a Leo intended it to be. I won't be putting a Badass on it. Nor will I be changing the pickups. Again, the stock is very good here. What are you waiting for? Buy one!

rockin' bass

I was looking to upgrade to a better bass. The sales rep. put this guitar in my hands and after a few riffs I was in love. The action was just what I needed to help me improve and inspired me to play more. If you are looking to upgrade try this bass.

Good Bass

I picked up this bass in guitar center and spent a while playing it. I was very impressed with the tone and playability of it. I do not own a fretless bass and this made me want to go out and buy one. I would recommend this to anyone who's looking for a really good fretless bass that doesn't cost too much.

Awesome fretless bass

The Fender Standard Fretless Jazz Bass is one of the most amazing fretless basses I have ever played. The tone is astounding and it is incredibly easy to play. When I played it through a Hartke amp I was blown away by its tone and sound quality. I regret not buying this bass because it is so enjoyable to play. My advice to you is to try this fretless bass out and if you like it, don't hesitate and buy it.
