It is what it is... A simple, easy to change-on-the-fly capo from Fender. There are better capos out there but this does the trick for me. Like I mentioned, this capo is extremely easy and quick to change positions anywhere on the neck. For me, that's all I need for the limited amount I use a capo. However, I do get some buzzing from time to time and have to make some adjustments before everything ringing clear. Also, the durability of this capo is in question because it is so light and small, I'm not sure how long the spring would hold up through heavy use. Like I commented above, for me this capo is all I need. I use is sparingly and have had it for a couple years. However, If you're a heavy capo user, you may want to look elsewhere.
When I first bought this capo I really liked it because of the style, the price, and brand( come on who doesn't like Fender?). Anyways Fender succeeded in making something that is easy to put on the guitar but this capo tore a lot of the wood from the neck and the headstock of my guitar. Also, the rubber on the capo is starting to tear and I haven't even had the capo for a month. This capo was disappointing! I would recommend another capo if you are an active guitarist.
I decided to buy the Fender capo because it was a good price and it seemed easy enough to use. It has done well enough since I began using it, but after a while the rubber around one of the poles that closes on the neck began to split. Overall, the quality on this item is not the best. I would recommend getting something else.
