Great Price, Great Quality

This guitar is fantastic. It is equipped with Seymour Duncan pickups and a birdseye maple neck. The pickups sound amazing and it is a beautiful guitar. It is very versatile when it comes to what it can play. The fact that it is Korean made does not seem to impact the quality. Overall, it is a great product for any style of music. However it does have some grounding issues. On some pickup selections there is a large hum. I have played it through a Frontman and a Roland and it has great sustain on both. The neck is very smooth and easy to move around on. The vibrato system also seems to be very good quality. However after using it the guitar is often out of tune. It is a great guitar and is great value for the cost.

Sleeper Guitar

Mid-priced Strat, Not much fanfare. Seems like everything about it would be middle of the road quality and soul. Not the case (Nor is there anything "lite" about it- mine is 8lbs.). Build quality is superb. Beautiful wood. Neck is REALLY comfortable. Yes, I did need to re-dress the frets, but nothing else needs adjustment, or better quality parts. SD pickups bring out the articulate Ash-Strat 3-D growl. Combined with my Super-Sonic, this guitar absolutely kicks the tone out best compared to most other Strats- I've played them all. For the price, it's a steal. The jimmie Vaughan is another sleeper model.

Light Ash good for Light Touch

I picked up one of these guitars last year. I was particularly drawn to the excellent fretboard -- the tone is really deep and immediate and the responsiveness to left-hand playing is excellent. The guitar has excellent sustain: whether this is due to the Seymour Duncan pickups or the light ash body, I do not know. I do notice a certain amount of plectrum noise in certain pickup positions.

Review of the Fender Lite Strat. (special edition)

This Guitar 'Rocks'. I think the construction is excellent, USA made, nevermind, this Korean edition is constructed exceptionally well. It saves us on the assembly price tag and adds the features to make up for it. The sound of this guitar is amazing from lazy soft blues to mister speed demon on the frets metal! If you want your sustain to go on forever this it the baby. The Birdseye maple neck should be a standard for all discernible guitar players. Nice choice for the pickups too!! I own the natural ash model and you can see how the grain is perfectly centerd in the middle where the neck begins good job. ANY WAY just try it you'll like it.

All Around Great Guitar

I love the look and sound of this guitar. I picked this guitar up last year and it has been at my bedside every since. I play it everyday. I don't have problems w/ the tuning or the buzzing. I love the tone and man can she sing...Get one, you'll love it too.
