NEW REVIEW - Great, but minor flaws.
I got this guitar this summer and I love it. It has the quality and feel of a more expensive guitar. The amp is just a practice amp and is not high quality, so you will want a new amp. It also does not stay in tune very long. However, the playability and feel more than makes up for the flaws. You will also want a new cord because mine blew out within a month. Overall, I think that this is a great guitar for people who are learning how to play or and at an intermediate level.

NEW REVIEW - Strat
First off, this guitar is awesome. When set up properly it plays and sounds how a strat should, however you will never hear anything close to that tone playing out of that amp. That amp is the worst sounding thing i have ever heard. If your going to play a strat, you need a tube amp.

Awesome Deal
I bought this bundle about a month and a half ago and it's just too awesome. I knew nothing about guitars like I know now and now I know I made the right choice for my budget. The guitar plays very well, it took some time to get the tuning right but later on found out new strings take time to break in. The tuning knobs on the scratch board are kind of lame but work for my taste. The SP10 amp is very loud and great for playing in your room or garage. It's just friggin' awesome, it's a great deal and it's Fender. Don't hesitate.

Great deal for guitar and beginner amp, plus all the accessories, picks, tuner, stand, gig bag, amp, cord, plus more. GREAT deal as a gift for a beginner who wants Fender Quality and Fender Looks.

squier value pack
The Squier value pack is exactly what it says it is, a perfect setup for the beginning guitarist !!
Included in the pack was all anyone needs to get started playing...I could list all the products but I don't want to spend that much time!
One of the best parts of the value pack for me was the tuner ..not knowing anything about the guitar this tuner gives me a good head start in getting the right sounds we are all looking for.
Thank you Guitar Center for getting me started playing, I've always wanted to play but thought it would be a big investment but not with this value pack!!

Sqire strat value pack
The guitar is perfect for beginners. If you are experienced this guitar is not for you. It's got everything you need to learn so it's great for beginners. The stand doesn't look very strong. The amp is good enough. Perfect for beginners, crappy for experienced players.

Pretty good deal
this pack is a pretty good deal for the money. the amp is loud, but doesn't have a very good overdrive setting. the guitar is great for beginners. just those two things alone make the pack a great deal. when you add all of the other stuff it comes with, it makes it even better.

great value for the price - for a beginner
Hey - I'm just starting out on electric. I've dabbled a little with acoustic over the years, so I'm by no means an expert, but I CAN tell you that I was pleasantly surprised by the overall feel and sound of the guitar. Really nice guitar for the price, if you're a beginner. I still need to tweak some things here and there, but I'm VERY happy with this purchase.
The amp? It's a crappy little practice amp, for pete's sake, it's not a Marshall stack. It will put sound out for you to practice with. Don't expect a full, robust, studio quality sound out of it. That's not what it's built for. BUT, it gets the job done.

GREAT PACKAGE !!!
This is my first electric guitar, i have 4 electric/acoustic guitars. I am only a beginner but i think the Squier Package is awesome! The guitar arrived in perfect shape, the black paint is flawless, the action is perfect,no buss on any fret, the neck is straight and true, the shell pick guard looks sweet with the black and chrome. The amp is ok for only 10 watts, but i bought a line 6 Spider 3 amp with effects which makes me sound a lot better than i am. GUITAR CENTER is right on and i will always go here 1st before i order on line. To make your sight the best you need to have the 3 month payment plan like the other top sights, this will be the only thing that will keep me from ordering in the future. THANK'S for everthing RODNEY

Great for beginners
I am so surprised with how well this guitar plays for such a value priced set. I just wish I got this set earlier!
