A favored implement among bassists for leveling entire city blocks.

The 350W Fender Rumble 350 Bass Combo Amp takes you and your sound to DEFCON 1 by forcing 350 watts of seismic bass power through a pair of 10" Fender Special Design speakers and a piezo horn (for highs). Brace yourself—the Rumble amp is not for the meek. You can further tailor your tone by blending adjusted-to-taste overdrive with pure, clean bass tone for first-rate Fender bass sound. Other useful-in-real life features include a horn on/off switch, XLR output, 3-band active EQ with semi-parametric mid controls and "punch" and "scoop" presets, and springloaded side handles and removable casters all in a ported, rugged, and easily portable enclosure.

The full-featured Rumble 350 bass combo features a professionally voiced preamp and a high efficiency digital power amplifier, vented cabinet design for enhanced bass response, quiet variable speed fan cooling, and a piezo horn with on/off switch. Get a killer overdrive effect with the help of the gain and blend controls (footswitchable with optional footswitch) optimized for bass to give mellow warmth or heavy distorted tones. The Punch and scoop preset EQ shapes are ideal for finger and slap style tones. The 4-band active EQ delta comp adaptive compression circuitry gives you even tone, without losing the finer details of your sound. The included line out is great for direct recording or live use, and the combo also features a headphone jack for silent jamming and practicing. An included auxilliary input works great for CD/MP3, tape or drum machine to help you get into the mix and work out your rhythms and tempos. Black vinyl covering, rugged black metal grille, and nickel corners round out the sturdy shell to this combo.

  • It's loud. Really loud.

As reviewed by John on 2/5/2011

I am using this for band practice with big Marshall cabinets and acoustic drums, and was worried it wouldn't be loud enough like my last amp. When I hooked it up I decided to turn it up all the way, just for fun. It knocked my friend's stand over, which wasn't even on the same floor. One of my friends said he heard it clearly from over a block away, so no worries about volume. As far as tone goes, it meets up to what I expected for my budget. It's no Ampeg, but it still sounds great and you can't really ask for much more from a 500 dollar combo amp. The XLR out is really useful for home recordings and putting it through mixers and PA's. The pop out side handles and rollers make it really easy to move around as well. It'd be nice if it had more attack, but you can get it pretty decent sounding with the eq, overdrive, and scoop and punch settings. Over all, great amp for practice and if you are strapped for cash it will do gig's just fine.

  • Great sounding combo amp for bars/clubs/small venues

As reviewed by Glen on 9/5/2011

This is really nice sounding 350 watt 2x10inch speaker combo amp. It comes with casters and is easy to roll around and get in and out of your car (even a small car). It's got a nice adjustable sound ... try experimenting with the EQ and shape functions and you should be able to find many usable tones. I've used it in a bar with a loud drummer and guitar player and it still cuts through the mix loud and clear with volume turned 1/2 way up. Proper placement of the amp is key.

  • Portable and powerful - Kick ass little amp!

As reviewed by Ron on 8/3/2011

I used to rely only on a large Ampeg stack for playing out, but with the size and weight of the big rig, I was looking for something more portable, yet versatile and powerful enough to play small to medium venues. The Rumble 350 has been a great answer. It's compact and easily transportable, yet powerful enough to keep up with drums, guitar, PA system, etc. The two, 10" speakers are punchy, but there is still plenty of bottom end, due to the ported cabinet. The Rumble 350 doesn't break the bank either. I originally bought it with the idea of using it only for small venues, but I take it almost everywhere now. Powerful, compact, and affordable - This one's a winner!
