They are always missing on older basses. Give it back its original look by replacing the cover. Chrome.
This product is exactly what it says it is in the title. No more, no less. It looks great and would definitely guard your bridge in case someone was firing pellets or something at it. Take note that you will have to find your own screws for securing this to your bass. It's not a big deal - I went to the local hardware store and spent a dime. Quick, easy and simple.
I bought this bridge cover to give my 50's precision bass more of a vintage, and it did a great job. I also bought the pick-up cover and the thumbrest. All of those plus the 50's precision bass and you have the closest thing to an actual 50's p-bass.
I put this on my squire p-bass because im upgrading teh whole thing and it really makes it look vintage. the only thing is is they don't include the hardware.
