Like Fender's "Noiseless" guitar pickups, the Fender Noiseless J Bass Pickup is voiced for that unmistakable Jazz Bass tone. Special magnets and enamel coated magnet wire. 2 per set.
I am totally impressed with the aunthentic sound and more with my new Fender J Bass pickups, I had recently serviced an older model 1970's Fender Jazz Bass and needed to replace a dead treble or rear pickup, I wanted to keep the original sound I had come to like when playing my Fender J Bass, the new replacement pickup came only as a pair and had to purchase and replace both pickups, best decision I ever made the sound has definatly greatly improved with brighter trebble tone and rounder bass bottoms, especially for playing Reggae and Blues, and yes there's truly no noise from new pickups, instead I get a clean and clear sound from my studio/practice Acoustic AB50 Bass Amp.
