The all-koa Tenor Ukulele from Fender bears the name of Nohea, from the Hawaiian word for "lovely." It evokes the sound and the spirit of Hawaii with acrylic abalone binding; laminated koa sides and back, with mahogany neck; aged fretboard binding; and a unique Telecaster guitar headstock shape.
So I tried out a handful of ukulele's and was within a month into research. I've been all over ukulele forums, and sites and found little information on this beauty but it just caught my eye and I just had to try it! Wow was I surprised. This thing sounds amazing, don't let the laminate scare you away..this piece is beautiful to the eye as it is to the ears!! 5 stars.
when I saw the package on my step after returning from work, I tore the box up like a kid on Christmas day. and I haven't stopped playing it since. This thing goes EVERYWHERE with me. At first, like all instruments, I had to tune it a lot, but now I rarely tune it. I'm very happy with this purchase. Sounds great. Gorgeous color. and, it smells amazing! Haha! I recommend this to anyone who is looking for a good sounding uke.
I bought this for my boyfriend for while he is deployed in Afghanistan and he loves it, I love it too. The sound is amazing and it is beautiful to look it, and its an awesome price for the quality
