The 7-watt Mustang Mini guitar combo amp is perfect for guitarists of any skill level who need a small-but-powerful solution for practice, impromptu jam sessions, or small performances. The Mustang Mini runs on the included AC power supply or six C batteries (not included), allowing you to take great tone wherever it's needed.

Eight amplifier models form the backbone of the Mustang Mini's sounds, along with 12 onboard efffects (additional effects are available using Fender's free FUSE software and the Mustang Mini's USB connection). 24 presets give you amazing sounds right out of the box, with more presets—including Artist presets—available using the aforementioned FUSE software. A digital chromatic tuner ensures you're always on pitch.

The Mustang Mini combo amp has looks like its larger sibling, the Mustang I, including skirted knobs, "Carbon Tweed" covering, and a silver grille cloth. And to make sure you're heard, the metal carry handle doubles as a tilt-back stand!

  • A great little amp

    I'm primarlily a jazz player and bought the Mini to play in the park. This little amp really surprised me with the tone, and so many amp models to choose from. Although I only use a few of the models it's nice to have the others to play around with from time to time. I did order this without trying it out and was apprehensive about the sound. I'm very leary of small speakers because they usually sound like crap, but this little amp does a pretty good job for it's size. I think this will become the amp of choice for battery powered amps. It also has a headphone jack which is nice if you play late at night like I do. It's a fraction of the cost of it's major competitors and I think it sounds better. If you're looking for a battery powered amp, buy the Mustang Mini. One small warning. The amp does come with a cord and adapter to plug in at home. The adapter is almost hidden in the packing material so when you do unpack make sure to look through everything carefully.

  • I Love This Amp!

    I do not know of any practice amplifier that offers so much modeling and so many effects as this one. I love the portability and since you can use batteries, you can even practice in the park, camping, or at the beach. While it is only rated at 7 watts, it seems to have as much or more power than a lot of 15 watt amps. The speaker is 6.5" and that extra 1/2 inch seems to really make a difference. If you want a small practice or travel amp that sounds like more than just a speaker in a tin can, you should check this one out. It's worth a few extra bucks. Fender really hit a home run with their Mustang Series amps.

    For the price, you can't beat this great ittle amp. Has just enough power for an individual and some really great sound effects. Real glad I bought it.
