The new Fender Mustang amplifier series raises the standard for modern guitar versatility and muscle. Driven by incredibly authentic amp models and a huge bank of built-in effects, Mustang amplifiers come equipped with USB connectivity and Fender Fuse software, allowing your musical creativity and imagination to run wild.

The Fender Mustang III is a 100W open-back combo amp with a 12" Celestion speaker that sounds great and pumps serious volume. It contains 100 amp presets derived from 12 different amp models that deliver tones from vintage Fender sparkle to outrageous modern metal distortion, and 37 different effects in four categories (stomp, modulation, delay and reverb), all easily and instantly accessed.

The Mustang III combo is great for rehearsing, jamming and small gigs, and the 1/8" headphone jack doubles as a speaker-emulated line out. Further, connect Mustang III to your computer with its USB output and use the included Fender Fuse software to open up a world of possibilities, including on-screen parameter control, deep editing, additional effects, unlimited preset storage, online preset swapping with the Fender Fuse community, and free Fender artist presets.

The Mustang III combo's included programmable two-button footswitch controls preset up/down, quick access, effects on/off and tap tempo (optional four-button footswitch also available).

  • Very Happy

    For me, this thing is perfect. I am old, but new to playing guitar. Well I have been playing on and off for 30 years, but I am new to playing seriously. The fuse software allows me to experiment with tons of effects without wasting a ton of money expirementing. I am using the headphone out into a PC and listening through some Alesis monitors. This works great for me becuase I can control the volume better for partment living and allows me to hear it in stereo, without killing my hearing with head phones. I had the Mustang II which was ok, but for difference in price, I like the Mustang III. It is still light enough to easily carry in one hand. The FUSE software is the only deep editing software I have used, but it is very easy and definetly get's the job done. The clean and distorted sounds I am getting out of this are great. Someone who has owned some high end tube amps might find fault with this thing, but I am not.

  • Mustang Sally!

    This little wonder has all of my gear purchases turned upside down! I just cannot believe how good this solid state modeler sounds! I have had everything under the sun in my quest for tone, easy function, portability, and practical convenience and at the moment this does it for me. I currently own a HD500 and DT50 head rig which I am liking alot, but this grab and go "Steed" is the cats meow! The effects are decent and the amp models are really acceptably good! I have not seen a solidstate amp with the feel and tone that this gem has. Including line6,vox valvetronics,Fender CyberTwin,Peavey Vypyr,boss GT10, digitech GSP1101, Johnson and Rp series. I can go on and on, I have owned them all, eccept the "Fabled" Fractal Audio Axe-Fxe Ultra, which maybe someday I'll have to end all this gas madness. For right now I love this little STANG and it works like a champ at my band rehearsals and live gigs with a mic in front of it, wall of sound!

  • A Awesome Combo-Modeling Amp

    I will describe to everyone on my opinion on the Mustang III in a single sentence... The Fender Mustang III is the best amp for the price and for the features. Here's some extras: I recently bought a Marshall MG30FX amp for practice and its a great amp too. Later on, I did additional research on amplifiers and then I saw the Fender Mustang series and then I looked back and decided to swap out the MG30FX for a Mustang III amp. Even though the Marshall was great amp, I love the Mustang because of its ease of use and its features. The little LCD screen makes editing presets a breeze and the Fender Fuse preset editing software expands your editing to a new level and you can manipulate ur amp into creating any kind of preset you desire. The base amp sports 12 different amp models that range from fender classics to modern day "metal" amps. The Celestion 100 Watt G12T-100 speaker offers high power without sacrificing sound as when you roll on to high volumes the amp maintains a crisp and clear sound. I love the open back feature and overall I think its a helluva amp. I am a novice, but I've done my research and I think I would recommend this amplifier to anyone... from hobbyists and beginners to pros and musicians.
