Fender Mike Dirnt Precision

I have had this bass for two years now and it is one of the best basses i have ever owned. it is veristale from jazz to punk to blues. this sounds as good as an american series pbass or a custom shop. my favorite feature of this bass is definately the neck. it is a fat neck that is very comfortable to play. this bass is well worth the money and you wont be disappionted.

great bass

i bought one september of 2006. it has a really good punchy sound and it sounds bright too. it all gets very aggressive once you move the gain up on your amp. the highs to get a little stringy and getting a good high end sound is kind of a hassle. its just not as straight foward of a bass as i thought it would be. this bass is heavy and akward to play, so it was truly designed for a pro by a pro. the over all sound is great though. play it through fender bassman or proffesional series bass amps to nail that american idiot sound. i dont suggest this bass for a beginner or a heavy/death metal player. this thing is pure punk. suffice to say, this bass gets the job done all while looking unique and gorgeous at the same time.

FIVE STARS!

Played this Bass at a few times at a friends house and I can assure you that this Bass is abso-positively AMAZING. It delivers a unique sound, even when through a low quality 10 watt guitar amplifier. The sound is deep and punchy, just like a bass should. This bass is unique in its own little way, the headstock is noticebly thinner then other basses and the pickguard can very easily be removed so that it can be customized. At first glance, it does not look very appealing, but for an extra few bucks, it'll look awesome. It is quite heavier then other basses and it takes a bit of getting used to, but it's worth it. The thing I like about this is the custom pickups, which like I said, delivers a GREAT sound. This bass is recommended to beginners and expert bassists.

Brain Stew

Owned this one for about a year now. The bass is based of off the 1951 Precision bass, but way more souped up and tricked out. Unlike the 51 P Bass it has a split pickup a rosewood fretboard and a Badass II bridge. The split pickup gives the bass a solid sound and packs plenty of punch. It really sounds well when using a pick but also sound great played with your fingers. I love everything about this bass the sound is awesome.I love the shape of the neck, very comfortable. Great bass for someone just starting out or even for an expeirence player. Its also a lot more unique looking than the standard b pass that everyone else has.It is a little on the heavy side but I got used to that.

Mike Dirnt P-Bass

I got this bass for christmas a year ago, its been great. It has a nice sound, Its pretty heavy actually ive got 4 other basses and its by far the heaviest. its also really durable at a show i was knocked into and the bass fell on the ground there is not even a dent chip or scratch on it which i was surprised because it fell on concrete.. so over all ive really enjoyed this bass.. it also makes for great recordings..
