The unique bass of a unique artist.

Mike Dirnt has a style all his own and he makes his music with Green Day on the very distinctive Fender Mike Dirnt Precision Bass. Based on the '51 P Bass, it's armed with a Custom Shop '59 pickup for a very effective twist. Combining a vintage vibe and modern appointments, it has medium-jumbo frets, a Badass II top-load bridge, rosewood fingerboard, and '51 slab ash body with arm contour. Very cool. Includes Fender deluxe gig bag.

  • BEST. BASS. EVER

As reviewed by KingforaDay23 on 10/14/2009

This thing is amazing. The pickups give it a amazing, punchy, trebley tone that when plugged into any amp will make up for it. The sound is simply amazing, I could not even believe it when i first played it. It is also very durable. I'm not the best person for carrying things, and have hit this on ceilings all the time, and it doesn't have a scratch. This is worth the money and then some. It matches any other P-bass out there that you could buy. The only problem I can think of, which is hard to do, is its weight/bulk, which for smaller people could be hard to carry. Other then that, buy this. You will not regret it in the least.

  • Good even if its not Green Day

As reviewed by Specialk17 on 3/7/2007

I got this bass last year. I like to play punk, I also like to move on stage but the first thing i realized when I picked it up is...it's heavy. And when you first get it check the joint cable hole when i got it it was loose. But besides the minor problems ive never had a problem with it. The stock strings on it are great strings but you can change them for a better sound. Its looks and sounds great as well.
