The Jaguar Bass has added a new level of cool to the world of electric bass since its introduction in 2006. Though it's based on the design one of the most popular guitars from the early '60s, don't let the Jaguar's retro look fool you—this bass is chock-full of modern features. With the goal of total tonal control, the Jaguar bass gives you the ability to switch pickups on and off, from series to parallel, and from active to passive. This provides you with a tonal palette that works for all types of players, from the set-and-forget player to the eternal tone-adjuster. Stylistically, it has a thin, fast, one-piece C-shaped maple neck that has a warm tint with a rosewood fingerboard, complete with aged white pearloid block position markers.

    Tried this thing out in a couple of chain music stores. I wound up ordeing it from a local Guitar Center along with a Ash Jazz Bass.This Bass is for my sons 16th Birthday gift. But let me tell you that right out of the box this thing was perfectly in tune with great action and intonation, tight neck pocket and beautiful Hot Rod red that every 16 yearold loves. It has a super fast neck a bit thinner than my Jazz bass and the serial parralell switch is awsome as are the built in bass and treble preamp no need for pedals with this bass. Truly the best bass guitar value out there. Now wish I bought a second for myself. although I love my ash Jazz bass. The Jaguar is the most versital sounding bass I have played.

    To put it very short and sweet, This bass is amazing. I own 2 other american made fender basses, and I have played a wide variety of misc basses, this bass is hands down the best sounding bass I have ever played. Simply amazing...

    Amazing instrument. Very versatile in sounds. You can make this bass sound like a Precision or a Jazz bass with a switch of a botton. Great sound for studio recording or live gigs. Top finish and construction. Best value of it's class. I recommend to anyone as a first or second erevyday instrument.
