can you concert in a box
first tuber i ever bought and im very impressed. ive been rockin a fender chorous amp that has two tens, before that a fender pro 185 with two 12's in it...my issue is that i always buy weak amps and blow them out trying to keep up with how loud my band plays.. this amp was perfect for me because of its monster loudness.
aside from that the tone combo it puts out with my gibson sg is prob the most perfect sound ive ever been able to create. its got a cyrstal clear clean channel and the ablitily go right into a monsterous shreading distorion for soloing via the pedal it comes with. and hey if anyone knows good reverb its fender.
so bottom line, bombin good price for a 4 speaker system, great tone, louder then a vegas hooker....BUY THIS AMP!!

Awesome combo amp...
I have gone through several sets of Marshall and Line 6 half stacks, all rated at 300W or better and I wasn't as happy with them as I am with this humble looking combo. While many complain that the tubes don't saturate at lower volumes, I particularly like this feature, since I use stomp boxes for my distortion, and undesired additional tube distortion just makes it sound muddy. I have played on too many better-rated half stacks that don't get any louder above volume setting 4 but only distort. Definitely a great buy for those who want volume and a crystal clear sound.

Couldn't be happier!
I was on the hunt for a versatile tube amp when i stumbled upon this gem. I wanted something i could gig with and practice on too. I plugged into it one day at guitar center after i already had my heart set on another amp. Well it took one note and i was in love. This amp has such a gorgeous clean tone. Reverb is in abundance, along with tone range. it looks great, sounds even better, and is a great value. You're hard pressed to find an amp that sounds this good, can get this loud (haven't turned it up past 6 yet, 6 was almost painful in my small apartment), and has this build quality for this price. what an awesome amp!! a lot of people complain about it being heavy, but it's not that bad considering it's size and all. get this amp, an american strat, a tube screamer and BD-2 with keeley mods, and you couldn't ask for better tone! i'm looking forward to having this amp and my strat for the rest of my life. great investment!! i could care less about it's drive channels, cause that's not the reason to buy an amp anyway, the clean tone is what you want to start with, there's always going to be a pedal to get the distortion you want. TWO THUMBS WAY UP!!

Holy Sh*t!!!!!!!!
Where do I begin?!
First off, the Clean channel sounds beautiful... If the neck pickup is chosen, it gives a wonderful Rock clean channel tone that cannot be beat. If the bridge pickup is selected, however it is great for that crazy chick'n pick'n like in bluegrass or country. My only complaint is that it is too bright at times which is curable by choosing the neck pickup. The dirty channels offer something more. Drive channel gives a bluesy tone if bass is turned up past 4-5. It gives a great crunch tone similar to green day whom uses marshall. GREAT for pop punk and classic rock and pretty much any kind of rock... honestly. The more drive channel sounds similar to the mesa boogie of blink 182... and the best thing, it's like haveing a distortion pedal built into the amp.
In general, this amp is loud... i had the volume set between 1-2 and this guy at guitar center told me to turn it down!!! WOW!!!
I gave features an under perfect score because it would be nice to have seperate EQs for the channels, but even without, this amp sounds awesome. The value is set high because i played a marshall tsl combo and they sounded pretty much exactly alike after the tubes were given good time to warm up... and the marshall is about 400 bucks more!!
Truly an art masterpiece... Fender... I salute you!!!

Blues Amp
The Fender DeVille is a great amp but I'm thinking about selling mine and getting a Vox. The volume on this thing is incredible but the distortion isn't good for anything but blues. The Vox AC30 is much better in my opinion but it costs a lot more and isn't as loud. If you want a great blues amp get this.
