  • There are better choices.

As reviewed by GuitarLover on 10/30/2006

I bought this product to learn some of the basics for acoustic guitar. It certainly has tips here and there that are helpful and educational but there are better choices. It is a cheap product but you can get a better DVD for it.The DVD is not of good quality either. Overall I would say its not worth it.

  • Getting started on acoustic guitar

As reviewed by Tommy on 10/29/2010

I would disagree with the other two reviews. I origionally checked this video out from a library and am now looking to purchase it for myself because I am getting so much out of it compared to the other two very popular instructional series the Guitar Center salesman reccommended to me. The video has alot of different chapters and I felt it covered alot of different topics for the money. I am lucky I guess because I did not experience any of the technical problems mentioned in the other review either. So far for me the best video I have seen by far out of a total of three.

  • NOT FOR BEGINNERS

As reviewed by wolfman1012 on 10/16/2006

I bought this CD to help me learn the guitar. Bad choice... waste of money. I learned much more from the Play Guitar Today series from Hal Leonard than from this. No question that Keith Wyatt is a great player... but he stinks at teaching others, especially beginners. I had bad sound on the DVD too... the voices kept jumping in and out of sync with his mouth in the picture. Maybe it's me... but I would pass on this item... was not very helpful to me at all.
