A bigger, more-powerful version of the G-DEC with more presets and features!
The Fender G-DEC 30 is an updated version of the top-selling, award-winning G-DEC that gives guitarists even more of what they loved about the original with upgrades based on customer feedback from around the world. As with its predecessor, the G-DEC 30 is a guitar amplifier with digital amp modeling, effects, backing loops, phrase sampler, and tuner, all in one great-sounding package. A total of 76 Performance Preset (38 performance and 38 teacher) includes all of the originals plus numerous additional loops. Each Performance Preset includes drum beats, bass lines, and other instruments that provide a musical backing track that is fully customizable. The added Composition Mode also allows individual measures to be combined by the user into whole songs.
The professional-quality suite of amps, effects, and backing loops in the G-DEC 30 can be sent out to external cabinets or PA systems through rear-panel speaker and line outputs. CD or MP3 devices can also be easily hooked up for play-along practice. The internal 28-second Phrase Sampler can sample the incoming guitar signal to create loops, or song snippets may be captured for careful study. The Phrase Sampler can also create sound on sound overdubs for spontaneous musical creations.
Additional features include on-board MIDI song file memory; an optional 4-button footswitch that can access program selection and stop-start functions; and the ability for future software upgrades from Fender to easily be loaded via MIDI.

THE GREAT MOTIVATOR
Review regarding the Fender G-DEC 30 AMP.I have been playing about a year, and sitting on a chair with a cheesy little home amp was not going far. Now the G-30 has changed this. This amp provides the backing band setups, drums & bass, and you can vary the speed to your level. It is very 'user friendly'. I have found this to be a very motivating tool giving me a feeling of being part of my own band.Internet software, updates and backup make the whole experience a pleasure. A 'MUST'- Do NOT hesitate if you want to improve rapidly. It's working for me.

Awesome tool
I used this amp because my friend had one. I asked to borrow it and was bummed when he wanted it back. It is very addicting. I then had to buy one for myself. I use it to keep the licks up to par when the band is'nt around. If you have this amp and love it, get the footswitch it makes it twice as nice, record and play at the tap of your foot. I have a couple various stacks and many cabs but I love to use this one the most. Like the many before me have said this is an EXCELLENT tool to learn guitar with and AWESOME entertainment for a seasoned musician. I would recommend this to any player.

Killer amp
I don't own it but I do play on it extremely often and I love the effects are great for such a moveable amp the drum beats help alittle for solo but it's just always better to have a real drummer.. over all it's a great amp.

Amazing
I tried out this amp with an epiphone les paul and it sounded amazing. There's so many settings on it you can always have something new to play around with and get the sounds you're looking for. I'm going to sell my two amps and buy this one. It's simply amazing I can't wait to get one of my own.

The best one-man-band amp
This amp is stacked with features, perfect for the one-man-band. It has 50 different settings, which you can add 50 effects to. There is no need for a distortion pedal. I am using this with a B.C. Rich limited edition Warlock Bronze, and it hasnt been better. There are drums, bass, and keyboard presets, which sound real, not corny. You can record right on the amp, and upload it to your computer. And there is a mp3 plyer jack, yet you need and AC input to AC output chord.
