The Fender G-DEC 3 Thirty packs 30W of power into a 1x10 combo amp in Fender's Guitar Digital Entertainment Center series. The G-DEC 3 Thirty takes an exciting leap forward in technology and content with easy computer connectivity.   • Awesome Learning Tool. Your Playing Will Improve Much Faster.

    This product is by far the beast learning tool that I have stumbled across. I purchased this amp along with the Stevie Ray Vaughan G-Dec Play Along Book. I have been through countless tab books for various artists and I always thought it was kind of a drag having to get on rhapsody or you tube and play the song so that you can get a grasp on the part you are trying to learn. The G-Dec takes an SD card that these Play Along books come with and they have backings tracks and full arrangements loaded on them which plays through the amp (which you can set to different speeds)so that you can play along with a band! It makes learning the songs so much easier, for me anyway. AND they also have the individuals tones for the songs to so you can dial in the exact tone with a simple double click of your mouse. Also there are a ton of pre loaded backing tracks and tones (from many many different styles of music) that come with the amp. If you want more backing tracks and tones you can access them through the FREE software that comes with the amp. There is soooooo much more this amp can do as well but im getting tired of typing. Great learning tool and not a bad sounding amp either for $300

  • Rocking good time

    So awhile back I went into Guitar Center to go check out new guitars. I was tired of my 20 year old Fender strat and thought I needed a new guitar. So I was playing one in the store and Plugged into this Fender G-DEC 30. Then it occured to me, Maybe I don't need a new guitar but a new Amp?.. I had so much fun playing this amp I bought it. I got it online with a sale, and within days it was at my door! Brand spanking new!, It smelled good.. After a week of playing this amp.WOW.. I'm totally thrilled with it. I didn't need a new guitar but a new Amp. This amp makes my guitar sound soo much better. I have never in my 20 years of playing had so much fun and practice playing. I was also looking at another amp, the Line 6 Spider Amp, but am so glad I bought this one. It has so many features I havent even scratched the surface! Great amp for practing and playing. Probably not the amp for Live gigging but who cares as Im not in a band, but this amp makes me feel as if Im in one as you can play along with the backing tracks WHich I love btw.. and I can download more from the web site. It has many different sounds. I can go from a country twang to a blues - jazz feel to totally heavy metal with a turn of the dial This amp should keep me happy for a long time!!!!

  • A fantastic amp

    The G-DEC 3 is a great amp!! Lots of great features and really a great tool for practicing and improving your soloing. This amp has stereo outputs so it can be outputted to a PA system. I run mine through a Fender Passport 150 and wow!!!! does it sound great. It allows you to run the band tracks through the PA and my guitar through the G-DEc amp. I highly recommend this amp.
