biggest bang for your buck!

After reading the reviews on this amp, everything turned out to be true, which is a good thing. The clean channel is pretty much perfect. The distortion on this is not so good but I knew that beforehand and i run my digitech pedal through it. This head is really loud, I use it with the FM 412 cab thats made for it.Its sounds really nice when turned up.After tax this came to 530.00. For the price range I am really happy with my purchase. Once again, with a really good clean channel all you need is a good distortion pedal. I also tried the MG 100 watt half stack made by marshall, and I thought the Fender was alot better.

Great Amp

I just got this amp head today and am running it through a Behringer 4X12 cabinet and this thing rocks, very clean clean channel and very nice distorted/overdrive channel. Only thing I see is that the reverb is a little weak and does not really sound perfect to me, but a pedal can cure that. And it will get loud too. Overall this is a very nice amp, especially for the money.

WELL WORTH THE MONEY

Here is the bottom line. Your low on cash but you need a loud head that will play through a half stack or full. This is the head you are looking for. Nothing fancy about it, you will need to use foot pedals for certain sounds. It does have a decent reverb on it, and a pretty good drive/more drive. I matched it with a Crate 4X12 because I already had the cabniet. For the cost of this head, then buy a 4X12 cabniet, you only have a little over $600.00 hundred dollars in it. Your band won't know the difference, and you don't have to tell them the price. I had the FM212 combo which is this head in a combo form. No matter where I played this amp would push the sound. I now use it for those fast gigs and it doesn't weigh a whole lot. I have an all tube amp head (100watts)and sure it is better. But if I had to get some place fast, I wouldn't hesitate to bring the Fender 100 with 4X12 cab. Check it out at Guitar Center. If you don't like it you have 30 days to take it back.

Beatiful Clean Tone and Dirty Overdrive!

This Head is one of the most versitle heads i've ever played with. If you like playing electric/acoustic, this amp will produce clean creamy tone and the reverb is great! If you are into grunge or hard rock the overdrive is classic and dirty. I love cranking this baby up and jammin till i cant hear. The cab i use with this head is the Fender FM 4x12 and is made for it. By far the best value out there. Buy it!
