Great for a starter...

I just started playing Banjo and didn't want to spend a lot of money. I couldn't have done better than this Banjo. It sounds great and looks to be high quality. The fit and finish is top notch.

Great Package

I think that this is a great introductory package for banjo. It has everything you need--banjo, gig bag, finger picks, strap, chromatic tuner, extra strings, and instruction booklet. All are top Fender quality. Unlike the other review, my package came complete (the sales staff even had me look through the box to make sure it was complete). I took up the banjo to learn a new instrument and this item has everything you need in one package with nothing else to buy.

Great Banjo

This banjo is a great deal it comes with everything you need to get started right out of the box. The only thing you have to do is put on the bridge and tune the strings. I am enjoying playing and learning on this banjo. Overall a very good deal.

Burn out Banjo

Not a bad Banjo. Only problems we had were peices missing...But that probably happens when this particular center we went to, prolly sold the banjo several times prior to our purchase. The Banjo itself was free of blemishes. Plastic finger picks are not the way to go when attempting Blugrass... The tuner in this Banjo pack was missing. stings were nice and tight, neck straight...case is decent, but playbook was a bit tattered. If you do get a Banjo Pack...make sure it's new..and not a returned item. For the $$, it's not a bad deal.
