      Fender FA135CE Concert Acoustic-Electric Guitar (H70301)

laminated spruce top, basswood back and sides, and Fishman ION-T preamp system.

The Fender FA135CE Concert Acoustic Guitar is built on the concert-style platform for a sleek, modern design. The laminated spruce top features X-bracing for bright, punchy tone, ideal for lead guitar. The neck is nato, and the back and sides are laminated basswood-both tone woods known for letting the mid and high frequencies sing out.

Thanks to the basswood back and sides, the Fender FA135CE is very light, avoiding strain to your neck or back during prolonged playing. The chrome tuners offer precision tuning. The guitar also features an impressive electronics system, featuring the Fishman ION-T preamp and built-in chromatic tuner, which provides lightning-fast tuning and amplification. The preamp features a volume dial, phase and contour buttons, and a tuner power button.

The FA135CE is fashioned with a natural gloss polyurethane finish, aged fretboard and body bindings, and a white concentric ring rosette that offers a striking contrast, and an appearance as beautiful as its sound.

Case sold separately.

  • this compares to a 1500 dollar guitar

As reviewed by hank sterling on 10/3/2011

i bout this guitar a month ago. Its sounds beautiful, better than all of the guitars i own. it has a cut away on the neck, it makes it easy to reach the higher frets. the lightweight ( only about 1 pound) lets you play for prolonged time, without putting any strain on your neck this guitar sounds beautiful and looks beautifully i reccomend this for a beginner and even a expert

  • Worth 10x the price

As reviewed by Tate Thurgood on 12/26/2012

This was my very first guitar and I was very pleased. It takes a little work to get tuning at first, but after that it sounds beautiful. New strings always help, but the ones I got on the guitar are stunning! It plays great both ways and the in-tuner thing is SUPER helpful. This is also a super low price for such a nice guitar! It looks beautiful and with polishing it'll look like a million bucks. This guitar is worth way way WAY more than it's priced. Believe me when I say all this because it's true! You need to get this guitar, especially if you want to play beautiful acoustic music and rock out on electric but can't afford both. This guitar was worth the price and gave me enough space in my wallet to buy other essentials.

  • Great for the price

As reviewed by CHRIS H on 9/12/2011

My wife picked this out as a first guitar for herself. Nice quality. OK sound. Easy to play. String spacing is more narrow than an epiphone (my preference) but she prefers it. Amazed that it had electronics for the price with a built in tuner. Plugged in, the sound wasn't amazing. Worth it for the tuner alone. Get way more than what you pay for. Great first acoustic for anyone.
