    Quality product. Easy to install (although they don't come with any instructions for installation or use). I hadn't used locking tuners before, so I wasn't sure how to lock them down. After I got the strings wound, then I realized you have to put the string end down thru the peg hole and then tighten the thumb screw. I usually have problems w/ string ends slipping as I tune, so these should help. I put them on my Mexi-Strat to upgrade the standard equip.

    It only took about 10 minutes to swap these into my Mexican-made Fender Standard Stratocaster. All I had to do was unscrew the old tuners to remove them, then screw these right into those same holes. The new tuners fit perfectly! Better yet, they work! I sat down and played for an hour straight and never had to stop playing to retune once. I used to have to stop and retune halfway through the middle of songs sometimes. A definite improvement over the stock tuners!

  • Great Tuners

    Put these into my Mexi-Strat mainly because I wanted to be able to actually use my tremolo system without going out of tune. Not only can I now use my whammy bar without fear of going out of tune, but I my sustain is better. Just one thing to take notice of, these tuners have two heights. Tall for the lower 3 strings, and short for the top 3 strings. There's no visible difference, but when you're putting strings in, you can tell. So make sure you have the heights right so you don't have to reorder them after you already put them in.
