  • Perfect?

As reviewed by Morgan on 8/13/2010

First off, Astetically speaking, this Guitar is Beauitful. The Black on Black, combined with the chrome hardware and Maple Neck (which feels and looks amazing, very playable), makes this one of the most georgeous guitars I've ever laid eyes on. Sound-wise, This tele is Mindblowing! Of course, It's clean tones are angelic. I mean, absolutly amazing. But, Kick up the gain a bit, and I was suprised how well this Tele sounds with Insane distortion. I play all styles of music, and this Tele is extremely versitle, I recomend it to anyone. The only fault I can seem to find with this guitar is if you get too close to something like a TV, it hums and feedsback a bit. Anyway, buy this guitar, It's Awesome.

  • Can't beat it!

As reviewed by Tim Drake on 9/26/2010

I initially walked into the store expecting to leave with a highway one Strat I had played a few days prior, but as I was walking down the aisle I saw the Blackout Tele hanging there and couldn't resist grabbing it and checking it out. Once I had it in my hands I completely forgot about the Strat! This thing is awesome. With looks to kill and still the old school Tele tones; with more versatility thanks to the 3-pickup setup, this guitar really is the complete package for the price. The pickups are very responsive to the little nuances in my playing style and deliver everything from a sweet bell-like clean tone to a gritty snarl. I couldn't be more pleased. So needless to say, I left the store that day with the Blackout Tele (I call mine "the Hot Rod" thanks to the awesome black/chrome theme) and I still catch myself grinning when I pick it up. If you're considering this guitar, play one and you'll be sold!

  • The most beautiful guitar I've ever played.

As reviewed by Lys on 2/23/2011

I received this guitar as a graduation present back in 2008. It still is my buddy, my go to guitar. I couldn't imagine life without it. You could get a traditional tele, all power to you. But this guitar has the flexibility of a strat while maintaining that tele sound. The ultimate guitar. I love the tiny different flavors it offers. Btw, I'd give it 15 stars if I could
