The Fender Telecaster Bass Guitar was originally introduced in 1968 and was essentially a reissue of the original 1951 Precision bass. This Custom Shop incarnation incorporates features from other Fender designs and some that are unique to itself. The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster N.O.S. (new old stock) Electric Bass has a contoured premium ash body coupled with a 1-piece maple neck with rear skunk stripe and a full "C" shape. The 20-fret maple fingerboard is bound and is dressed with black Jazz Bass block inlays. The Fender bass's chrome/nickel hardware includes vintage-style reverse tuning machines and an American Vintage Precision bass bridge.
The Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Bass is loaded with dual wide-range humbucking bass pickups that produce an array of tones you won't find on any other Fender bass. Each pickup has its own volume and tone control and is selected via a 3-way toggle switch.
The Custom Shop N.O.S. finish treatment gives the impression that the Fender Telecaster Bass was discovered in a warehouse after many years, never played and showing no signs of wear. Accessories include a deluxe black hardshell bass case strap, cable, polishing cloth, and a Fender Custom Shop certificate of authenticity.

Comments about Fender Custom Shop Telecaster Bass N.O.S.:
great bass. played it for 3 years. only problem i had was once it would not tune after a show. great if you have been playing for awhile. It does cost a pretty penny but it's worth it.
