Overview

The 1961 Telecaster Relic Electric Guitar masterbuilt by Greg Fessler features an offset seam lightweight ash body, NoCaster neck pickup, Abby handwound bridge pickup, D neck, vintage fretwire and 1 ply parchment pickguard. The instrument has been given the "Relic" treatment to show years of natural wear and tear - nicks, scratches, worn finish, rusty hardware and aged plastic parts. Everything is painstakingly recreated to the last detail. This is part of a very limited production run.

This is the answer to the guitar you wish you'd bought - or wish you'd never sold. It's all here: the bell-like lead tones, the awesome rhythm jangle, the classic look and feel.

This blew my mind!

Comments about Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt 1961 Telecaster Relic Electric Guitar:

When I first played this Fender it blew me away, the action was perfect and the neck played like butter. The pickups are great too, but I found the pickup switch to easy to hit with my hand and switch pickups. Even with this one fault, this is still a sweet guitar, even for the money.
