The Custom Shop 1967 Telecaster evokes the instrument's mid-to-late-60s era. This detailed Custom Shop reproduction of a 1967 Tele was built utilizing original tooling and production techniques of the era. And its Relic finish treatment gives it the look of a well-traveled and heavily played axe, although it is absolutely new in setup and playability. Includes deluxe hardshell case.
The Telecaster Relic more than held its own in the 1960s as a talented new generation of rock, blues, and country guitarists not only embraced its classic sound but also coaxed electrifying new music from it. Telecaster guitar specifications changed dramatically in 1968 thereby cause collectors to covet the 1967 models.
