The custom shop is worth it

I bought this at GC about 3 months ago and ever since, i've played this guitar almost every day. I'm in a pop-punk local band here in Indianapolis and lemme tell you, even from older and more experienced guitar players, i've gotten compliments and looks from the attention that my custom shop strat gets me. I've got the daphne blue finish with the maple neck. The neck on mine is even a bird's eye maple neck because i special ordered it directly from fender, although they classified mine on the COA as a Custom Classic with a "C" neck. As far as playability and action or whatever, this is by far the best guitar i've played. I can't even go into guitar center any more and not look at the walls of guitars and think how much better mine is (which i know isn't true, but it's up there) I also retrofitted a Seymour duncan JB humbucker in the bridge position which gives this strat a bigger bite and a really awesome tone. I play through a marshall avt halfstack, which soon i'll upgrade to the DSL50 halfstack, but after I pay off this beauty. Bottom line, save for the custom shop. You'll be so much happier knowing you did.

Guitar for The Life

Every day I see and play this guitar I love it more. It's got a beautiful finish that shows the true meaning of a custom Fender guitar. The neck is very confortable and easy to play, I can notice the diference from all other guitars I've played. Great sustain and beautiful tones come out of it like I had never seen before! Very nice playability although the strings were a little low for my taste but I easily had it fixed. The pick ups are very unique, specially the bridge pkup that is very hot and warm at the same time, very hard to explain. I was able to create my own signature sound, with the tone I was searching for a long long time... I'm amazed by the power of this axe in every way. I had a hard time tryng to describe the greatness of this guitar so don't take my word for it because it's much much better than this! Thank you Fender and Guitar Center for making my day better every day. This guitar is a dream, for life...
