Great guitar, well made, super sound
This guitar is the real deal. Very well made, no flaws at all on the beautiful natural ash finish. It came perfectly set-up right out of the box which shocked me. The sound is the best part, it's more versatile than any single coil tele., yet still gives enough tone for you country players. The neck pickup gives a sweet Les Paul type smooth sound. The maple neck is very easy to play, with great action, and very smooth. If you can't play this guitar, give back
the money you spent on lessons. I have a Gibson SG which is my favorite guitar in my collection but this is now 2nd. The sound is much more rounded than a single coil pickup tele, plays any
kind of music, and it's a Fender so it should last forever. And the most important thing is the value, for this price you will not find a more versatile guitar as well made, and with such a beautiful appearance. By the way it also records very well. I have a 16-track studio, and this is just as good as my 61 SG. Anyone out there who writes lyrics to rock-pop-blues songs, and would like to write them for my music please contact me at plescejj@ptd.net. thanks

Well Rounded Telecaster
The Telecaster 72 Thinline is a great guitar to have in your collection. It has that tele tone you're looking for, but is also able to switch and have a different, fuller sounding tone as well.
It's definitely one of the more versitile telecasters you can get because of the hollowbody giving it a warmer feel, while keeping it's twang.
Love it. Definitely a great purchase!

Beautiful guitar with a beautiful sound
This guitar has an amazing sound. Wonderfully full, clear, crisp sound especially the bridge pick up. Also sounds good distorted. Has more of a country twang sound then I would like but it is a tele. Low action and wide tele neck makes it a joy to play, and is the best looking guitar around. Anyone in the market for a telecaster should try this one out.

Ohhh man, such warm tone...
This Tele Thinline is tough to beat. The wide-range humbuckers, together with the hollow body, produce a sound not dissimilar in tone to a tele, but so much warmer!
And the quality of craftsmanship in the Classic series guitars is simply astounding. Everything recreated with a vintage feel. I only wish it came with more control knobs.

Bring on the twang!
A buddy of mine recently got the Fender '72 Telecaster Thinline and I've decided that this will definitely be the next guitar that I purchase. I played his through a VOX Brian May Custom amp and this things loads of tone and sustain. It's got that great twangy sound that Tele's are known for if you play country but it works equally as well for blues and rock. Best of all, it's made quite well for an instrument in this price range. When you pick one up and play it, you can tell that it's made with the quality that Fender is known for. Definitely a great value. I highly recommend it.
