  So, I bought mine off an older gentleman whose wife was making him sell guitars. He sold it to me for $600. I'm not joking when I tell you that this is the BEST $600 I have ever spent. I would easily have paid double to for this beauty! I've been playing for about 15 years and have several nice guitars (Gibson Les Paul Studio, Big Apple Strat, 1970s Strat), but none of them compare to the Jazzmaster. It's seriously all I ever want to play now. I'm in an indie/emo/alt rock band and this guitar gets me the perfect sounds. Plus everyone loves the way it looks on stage. It plays like a dream and the tones are unbelievable. Seriously, if you want an amazing guitar for your buck, do yourself a favor and get one. Don't worry about the Mexican make either, because mine is perfect to the last detail. GO GET ONE!

  This is a phenomenal deal! Well built guitar and very versatile. Pros are the set up from factory is good out of the box. Great gig bag and good floating trem. The rhythm settings are rather dark, but usable. The lead settings are the bomb! New hot pick ups are great, but remember they are single coils and that equals some hum on position one and three. The looks Are killer! All in all a super deal. It's a keeper.

  this guitar is awesome! it's my first jazzmaster, although i've played a few MIJ ones that have come through my guitar center used in the past year but this MIM is every bit just as good! i ordered it through the store thinking it was to be a MIJ model, but received a MIM, at first i was a little bummed since most MIM i've picked up at music stores have had some sort of playability or weight issue. NOT THIS ONE! a true gem with a little bit of love. like 15 mins worth of love. borrowed my luthier friend's stew mac fret tool and filed down the fret ends to buttery perfection, and lightly buffed the frets to a silky smooth feel set her up right with some heavier gauge strings and "TA DA", great guitar! Intonation was surprisingly factory perfect. I highly recommend this guitar to anyone on the fence about MIM, MIJ or looking for affordable jazzmaster in the $700 price range. (thank you GC 4th of july sale) I've been a MIJ junkie the past few years having owned a 65 reissue mustang, 69 reissue mustang and a 90's jagstang I feel very confident passing along how happy I am with this MIM jazzy. **be prepared to hunt down a tremelo arm for this thing, mine was new in box and didn't come with one...the GC guys helping you in store order this thing may question why you'd want to buy a jazzmaster or give you a hard time but stick to your guns and get jazzmastered.
