Fender Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe Electric Guitar (H90346)

Modeled closely on Shiflett's favorite '72 Tele Deluxe.

Chris Shiflett has his feet firmly planted in two worlds-with impeccable punk/hard rock credentials as longtime guitarist in the Foo Fighters, and with an authentic love for country, as heard in side project Chris Shiflett & the Dead Peasants. His abiding love for Telecasters and for huge humbucking sound now comes together in one kickass new instrument with his name on it-the Chris Shiflett Telecaster Deluxe.

Eminently affordable and modeled closely on Shiflett's favorite '72 Tele Deluxe, it features a striking Arctic White finish, a four-ply white pearl pickguard, a roaring pair of new custom-designed high-output humbucking pickups, a 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard for easy bends with low action, custom-stenciled hard-shell case, and Shiflett's signature on the headstock. Tour bus, platinum records and the adulation of millions not included.

  • Wow! Great value for your $$

If your looking for a guitar with big sound look no further. Straight out the box it sounded great, played easy and looks good doing it. The mids are extremely focused allowing this guitar to cut through any mix. It has very good sustain. Plus it comes with a hard shell case. I'd be hard pressed to find a guitar that sounds this good in this price range.

So far it's one of the most comfortable and best sounding guitar i have ever played. It's been just over a year now since i bought this baby, and damn it sounds great . Just right for genres like hard rock, punk rock and some classic rock styles. Also you get really good clean tones with this baby. The only issue i had with this guitar so far was when i first bought it , the toggle switch was kinda on/off sometimes , but as i started using the switch more often the problem went away. (I think the switch may have been a bit moist inside because it was new). Anyway since then i have had no issues and the guitar performs very well on stage. It has got huge sustain which is very impressive. I haven't changed the strings for a year now, thanks to the hard case that comes with it, the strings have not rusted and are still going could you believe :D

Nice guitar and a nice player. A space between neck and body. Some cosmetic blems. The case had three little drill holes on it. Was not impressed with the quality of the product from Fender.
