The action on this guitar is incredible! I must have tried every acoustic in this price range at the store. I couldn't believe how beautiful it played the moment I picked it up. The sound is rich and full with great resonation and simply smokes. I can't imagine anyone being disappointed with this purchase.
I love this guitar. It has a very deep sound to it. And we got a great deal on it!
This guitar is not a high end guitar, so you can't expect it to play like one. But for what it is - a very inexpensive beginner's guitar - it is was a wonder. With a wonderful sound to it, and an action that plays better than any guitar in its price range that I have tried, its ease of play is unbeatable for the price. This was my first guitar I bought for myself. I went out with my father - who, unlike me, is a guitar expert - and played guitars in my price range. We found this Fender and it was a done deal. In short, for a beginner guitar, you can't do much better. A very pleasing guitar with good looks, good sound, and the best action in the price range. Is it comparable to a Martin or Taylor? No. Does it beat the others in its class? You better believe it. I love my Fender 140.
