The CD160SE-12 dreadnought guitar from Fender features Fishman Aero electronics with a built-in tuner, a solid spruce top, mahogany back and sides, rosewood fingerboard with snowflake fingerboard inlays, and chrome die-cast tuners. The gig-ready Fishman Aero electronics include a tuner with an LED Display and on/off switch, volume, bass, mid, treble, phase switch, and a low battery indicator light.
I must have played this guitar 10 times before I finally bought it. Every time I went to guitar center to get anything I would look around a little and I always gravitated to this guitar, and I wasn't even a big fan of 12 strings. The way its felt and sounded just somehow stuck with me. Its very easy to play especially considering its a 12 string. The sound will make everyone do a double take it really puts a unique twist to acoustic music and I even plug it up and run it through an amp to get an electric sound out of it. Great guitar all around.
This guitar, at such an affordable price boasts quite a powerfully clear tone. It has really lived up to the Fender name. I use this guitar to play Spanish and Classical styles and have been very happy with the results. The fret board really flies and has a great sensitive touch to it. The bridge and pins that come with it have been great for me so far and cosmetically, this is a great looking guitar as well. If you consider yourself as a beginning-experienced player you will be happy with this purchase, if you happen to be some sort of immortal legend who can set their strings on fire than you will probably want to spend the extra money on a more advanced guitar, possibly one from space.
This guitar is awesome. it has a sweet sound that can't be matched by a 6 string. Very affordable. the tuner works much better than i expected.
