The Blacktop Jazzmaster HS delivers monster dual-bucker tone without breaking the bank. A vintage-style Duncan-Designed alnico humbucking pickup delivers the hot high-gain power of today's most aggressive sounds while the Duncan-Designed single-coil supplies the bite and twang; other distinctive touches include skirted black amp knobs, and one lean and mean three-way toggle switch rather than the customary barrage of Jazzmaster controls, Features include an alder body, maple neck, 9.5"-radius rosewood fretboard, 21 medium jumbo frets, gloss urethane finish and nickel/chrome hardware.

  • Great guitar! Best guitar for the price!

    I've got it after I had an Epiphone SG, And wow, the jazzmaster is so much better. It is a really comfortable guitar, and it sounds great on every genre: Blues, Rock, Funk, Heavy rock, Classic rock, you'll name it. At the beggining you'll probablly will have some issues with the strings, but it's not something that's hard to fix. I really love this guitar and I'm reccomending it!

  • FENDER PUNCH & TONE With the BALLS of a GIBSON ! (the perfect strat / les paul hybrid)

    I went to GC to just browse. I had no intention of buying another guitar. There was 1 three tone sunburst blacktop Jazzmaster in the entire store. I was quickly drawn to this guitar just on it's beautiful American quality finish alone. This is a MIM Jazzmaster with Large 70s style headstock with vintage American style Fender Logo. Rose wood neck, alder body, beautiful and rich sounding Duncan P-90 in the neck and Hot Duncan humbucker in the bridge. As other have said... each pickup selection is tonal bliss. Three way selector switch with easy 1 volume and 1 tone knobs. The pickups are IMO perfectly balanced. There is NO need to replace them. They are ballsy, sweet, raunchy and every thing in between. The tone of each is PERFECT. So leave them alone. The comfort of this guitar I would describe as a custom fitted guitar for ME. I have never found a guitar that I was totally satisfied with and fit MY needs. Look, feel, finish, tone, comfort, and absolute POWER. This guitar is well suited for what I play which is 70's classic rock/ punk, alternative and hard rock covers. I have always wanted a Jazzmaster/ Jaguar style guitar. Thank You FENDER for making an affordable TONE and POWER Rock MONSTER for your average guy to own. I play this through a 100 watt all tube MARSHALL MA 100 TUBE HEAD with a Marshall MC412a (1960 size cab with celestions). This Jazzmaster has made my strats and les pauls obsolete. If I were to describe this guitar in a couple of sentences I would say the comfort and Feel of a Fender but with the POWER and BALLS of a GIBSON! It's like the PERFECT HYBRID if you love both strats and les pauls like I do.

  • One HOT Number

    The First thing I noticed about this Guitar, was it's Great Looks, and its simplicity, Two Knobs..Tone & Volume. Simple 3 way toggle switch, Then I was Blown away by the Sound. The pick ups are insane, each flick of the toggle brought a new surprise. I own a couple of Strats and a Couple of Teles, each one is a great Guitar but compared to them this thing really SMOKES! No "Sticker Shock" either. After Trading in a old foot pedal my out the door was about 350. Great Value, Great Looks, GREAT GUITAR!
