This amp is made just as a solid state bass amp should be. Humongous low end, driven through a powerful 15" speaker with horn attenuation. It has a 3 band EQ, FX loop, headphone hack, very useful spring loaded handles, and a mute switch. You will never make loud pops from changing guitars or cables or turning it on or off thanks to this little button. This is very useful in any situation. The wheels are also a huge plus, since it weighs in at 63 pounds, they are a great touch.

A Big Boomer

This big old things really packs a punch. At my local Guitar Center, I plugged a J-Bass into this thing and nearly blasted the roof off the place. Mind you, it gets loud. Apart from that, the tonal capabilities are great. The treble sounded just as good as the booming bass. This amp is the way to go.

Thumping The Thunder...

The 1x15 in this bad boy cranks on its own pretty good. I ran a 4 x 10 cab out of it at the last session and nuclear explosion of rumbling proportions occurred. I could not believe the clarity and the power this amp provides. The "Room Balance" and "Contour" features mobilize the direction of the sound. Not to mention, you can line out right to a PA system. The B-250 has everything you need and only weighs in at about 63lbs or so. For the portability, the sound, the features and the price...it's a steal.
