  • Fender? BG-31 4-String Acoustic-Electric Bass

As reviewed by CrazyCoolCat on 1/5/2007

This bass is amazing. It was my first acoustic bass and it is sweet. Take it anywhere and it sounds good. Its a great bass for a great price. Totally get it.

  • Very slick bass!

As reviewed by Chris on 1/17/2008

I got this bass almost 2 years ago in black and I have played the hell out of it and it stills surprises me. Great tone for small scenes and plugged in even better. I get such a rush when I plug it in and add distortion. Also, I use it for halo sounding tunes and tight riffs. If you want a well rounded easy to play acoustic, here it is. Plugged in or not, great pick up!

  • A Gift for My Son

As reviewed by J. Dohrmann on 2/19/2010

I will tell you that this review is not at all fair because I am not the musician playing the instrument -- I purchased this beautiful acoustic bass for my grown son's birthday. He is extremely picky, an experienced musician, a graduate of Berklee College of Music and well, that gives you a really good idea about what I was up against. So, when I tell you that he had no complaints except to change the strings, you will understand why I gave it a 4. As the buyer, my only complaint is that I am having a terrible time locating a case or gig bag for the bass.
