  • My Number One

As reviewed by Jonathan on 7/5/2010

I dedicated my entire summer working for money for a new guitar. When I got to the guitarcenter in august i played every strat i saw, even ones that were out of my price range. When I tell you this I am being 100% honest, as soon as I put my fingers on this guitar my future changed. The guitars sound made me feel like it was the first time i heard music. I play this guitar about 4 hours everyday and let me tell you it looks, feels, and sounds better everyday. The ONLY problem with this guitar is that after playing this I have no where else to go but down. This is my number one and will always be.

  • The "strat" sound doesn't get any better

As reviewed by Subtone on 5/23/2007

The SRV was my first strat got back in '92 i think. Since then i've had a few strats, teles, and others but this is the only fender I still have. The Texas Specials are hotter than the standards and this adds a whole new depth and punch to that legendary hollow fender sound while it produces great tones at high gain. The real prize though is the neck, between the jumbo frets, the pao ferro board, and the huge diameter of the neck this guitar, it is a real joy to play.

  • My favorite guitar

As reviewed by adam romanelli on 2/2/2009

This is by far the best guitar I have ever owned. You pick it up and it just fits. I spent a year contemplating about buying it because of the price tag. Anyone with these reservations, put them behind this Strat is worth it. From the look the sound, the feel, simply the best.
