real thing!!!

it is not only this bass but all vintage series of Fender that is the best recreation of instruments of the golden era of 50s and 60s. this 57 precision is light weight with crisp highs and round bottom end. best for rock, r&b and motown sounds it is a real classic. neck is slimmer than american series and more comfortable. apart of Jazz bass, every serious player should owe one

Playing it 22 years

I bought my 2-tone sunburst bass in '85. It has a warm vintage sound for church use but also has a cool snap for southern rock and jazz. I use DR Black Beauties which also gives it an extra cool look. I've played more and less expensive, 5 and 6 strings but this one stills feels like "the one." You won't be disappointed.

I love this Bass

My bass player owns this bass and we both love it. This is an excellent guitar and it is worth the expense. The guitar has an alder body and the finish is fantastic. The neck has the old school shape that is very comfortable to use. The guitar plays incredibly well, the action is low and the string tension is perfect. The guitar is built well so it should last for many years of serious use. If you record this is an excellent choice, we use this bass to get a full body tone with just the right amount of punch (especially with a sans amp). This guitar may be expensive but it is worth it.

"EXCALIBUR\

I have owned several P-Basses and this IS the best one! I have the white ash w/maple neck. This baby is as sweet to look at, as it is to play! And that classic Tweed Case. WOW!! What a package. The best P-Bass yet!!
